A shadow spirit. She appears before Link when he takes the form of a beast. She helps out Link in exchange fro which he finds certain items for her.

Ordon Village Mayor’s only daughter and childhood friend of Link. The village children treat her as a kind of big sister.

Princess Zelda
Princess of the Kingdom of Hyrule. Imprisoned after Zant took over the kingdom in exchange for a guarantee that its inhabitants would not be harmed.

Zant
The Lord of Shadows. He controls the shadow spirits and is intent on turning the whole of Hyrule into a realm of darkness.

Colin
One of the children of Ordon Village. He idolizes Link and is gentle and kind, though a little timid.

Talo
One of the children of Ordon Village and Malo’s elder brother. Talo spends his time finding new ways to get into trouble.

Malo
One of the children of Ordon Village and Talo’s younger brother. Despite being the youngest member of the village, he’s very mature. He doesn’t say much, but when he does, it’s worth listening to.

Beth
Daughter of the owner of the general store in Ordon Village. A precocious child, she aspires to go to the city one day and is fond of the grown-up Link.

Rusl
Ordon Village’s only swordsman and also Colin’s father. He thinks of Link as his younger brother.

Coro
A young boy who lives close to Ordon Village in Faron Woods, where he makes a living selling oil.
|

Monkey
One of the monkeys that live in Faron Woods. They have recently taken to appearing in Ordon Village and pestering the villagers.

Ooccoo & Ooccoo Jr
A mother and son, traveling together on a quest to find a special something. They take a liking to Link and treat him as if he was a member of their own family.

Renado
The priest of Kakariko Village. He lives together with his daughter, Luda. Always calm and composed, he is kind and impartial to everyone.

Luda
Renado’s daughter. Just like her father, she has impeccable manners and is a very reliable person.

Barnes
He runs the bomb shop in Kakariko Village. Although undoubtedly adept at making bombs and despite his appearance, he is actually quite a shy person.

Gorons
The Gorons are a proud, but gentle race who reside on Death Mountain.

Gor Coron
Even by Goron standards, Gor Coron is old. In fact, he’s the oldest member of the tribe. Presently, it’s Gor Coron who is effectively leading the tribe.

Darbus
Boss of the Goron tribe. As a leader he is dutiful and just and is looked up to by those around him.

Zora
They live in Zora’s Domain and preside over the water.

Ralis
Prince of the Zora people. On his way to inform Hyrule Castle of the trouble in Zora’s Domain, all contact with him was lost.

Rutela
In place of the late King Zora, she unites the Zora people as their queen.

Telma
Proprietor of the bar in Castle Town. Always composed and welcoming to all. She owns a cat names Louise.

Auru
An old man who worked for Hyrule’s Royal Family and was responsible for Princess Zelda’s education when she was young. He’s gathering information essential to finding the source of the evil power shrouding the Kingdom of Hyrule.

Ashei
A spirited young woman who was trained for combat by her father, an ex-soldier. Her investigations into the incident in Zora’s Domain have taken her to the bitterly cold Snowpeak Mountain.

Shad
A bookworm who is following in his father’s footsteps and conducting research into the ancient civilization of Hyrule. He has joined forces with Auru, who believes the key to saving Hyrule lies in the mysteries of ancient civilization.

Shopkeeper
Working in a fashionable general store in Castle Town, he sells his goods to the local rich and famous. He tends to be unfairly biased towards those who have money in their pockets.

Agitha
She likes to go by the name “Princess of the Bugs”, a nickname she gave herself. Her dream is to invite all the Golden Bugs to her house for a ball.

Iza
A wild young lady who runs the Boat Rental Cabin on the upper part of Zora’s River. Because of the darkness currently shrouding the Kingdom of Hyrule, she’s worried as she can’t open her shop.

Hena
She owns the Fishing Hole and has a very frank way of speaking. She can be abrupt at times, especially when people don’t show her enough respect. As a fishing guide though, she’s second to none.

Fyer & Falbi
Once members of a circus troupe that used to come to Castle Town, they now entertain tourists around Lake Hylia with “Fyer and Falbi’s Watertop Land of Fantastication”.

Postman
A diligent young man who will go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the post gets delivered. You’ll catch sight of him all across Hyrule.

Yeto & Yeta
A Yeti couple who live in the ruins atop Snowpeak Mountain. They used to have a love so passionate, it could melt the snow covering Snowpeak Mountain. But things may have cooled recently…
